5 Common RO Purifier Problems and How to Fix Them

Don't Ignore These Warning Signs

Your RO water purifier works hard 24/7 to keep you healthy. Like any machine, it occasionally runs into issues. Here are 5 common problems and what they mean:

  1. Water Leakage: Usually caused by loose pipe fittings or a cracked filter housing. Needs immediate tightening or replacement.
  2. Vibrating Noise: A loud humming noise often means the booster pump is failing or there is trapped air in the system.
  3. Bad Tasting Water: If the water tastes bitter or smells bad, the post-carbon filter has likely expired.
  4. Slow Water Flow: This indicates that the pre-filter or the main RO membrane is heavily choked with mud and salts.
  5. Continuous Waste Water Flow: If water keeps draining even when the tank is full, the Auto-Shut-Off (ASV) valve is malfunctioning.

Trying to fix internal components yourself can damage the machine further. Always rely on certified professionals. Book an expert repair today.
